Q: Is through wall protection required for the LED SIGN CABLE?
A: No! The LED SIN CABLE is an insulated 14 AWG conductor further protected by a metal jacket and then another protective insulating jacket. It is UL Listed to not require mechanical protection.
Q: Can the LED SIGN CABLE be used on the exterior?
A: Yes! The primary insulator is UL Listed for direct exposure to Sunlight (720 hr). The complete system, wire and fittings are UL listed for wet (exterior) locations.
Q: Can the LED SIGN CABLE be used in air handling applications?
A: Yes! The outer protective insulating jacket is UL Listed as Plenum Rated.
Q: What size holes do I need to drill through my supporting walls?
A: 5/8 inch diameter holes will allow the LED SIGN CABLE to pass through easily.
Q: Do I need special tools to make the splice connections between the wires?
A: No! The splice connections only need to be finger tightened.
Q: How much faster is installing LED SIGN CABLE letters when compared to conventional methods?
A: A minimum of 25% to as much as 50%.
